→ History: Aiden was born Yu Hyun-Seok, in Seoul, South Korea to an underprivileged single mother, Yu Su-Hwa and an unknown father. She struggled to care for him for months before leaving him with a friend, Yoon Sook-Ju. Supposedly Su-Hwa left to look for a better job, but never returned for her son. A few months went by with no contact from Su-Hwa, and no sign of her anywhere. Sook-Ju finally surrendered baby Hyun-Seok to the local authorities as his mother was nowhere to be found and had no family to speak of. Hyun-Seok was eventually placed in an orphanage. Luckily, it wasn't long before he was adopted by a loving family, so desperately wanting a baby boy. The family, the Crowleys, applied to adopt from Korea. Vanessa Lee-Crowley herself is full Korean, but was born in the US, her parents from Seoul. Her husband, George Crowley, is Caucasian and from Ventus City. Upon adoption, Yu Hyun-Seok was renamed Aiden Crowley to fit into his family and new home just a bit better.

Aiden was always a very inquisitive child. Quiet, but curious, he always wanted to know how things worked. This led to a lot of things in the home being taken apart and put back together again. Vanessa and George noticed how bright their son was, and made sure he got the best in education. Aiden attended Altus Primary Academy, then moved onto Supernus Secondary School in his middle school years. He always got high or perfect marks, but the teachers noticed something a bit off about him. Aiden put little to no effort into socializing or making friends. When asked, he simply stated “I have no reason to”. Though extremely smart, Aiden was very cold and analytic to others, usually only speaking when needing to.

Finally, Aiden attended Ventus Technical Academy for high school. There, he discovered his true calling in mathematics, his teacher opening up a new world to him with the Mathletes. He finally found many teens, like himself, who were bright, but a bit withdrawn, and in love with numbers. Aiden's teachers and parents began to notice a small change in him, talking and even smiling with other students. It was a slow, but steady occurrence and his parents couldn't be happier. As for Aiden, his path was decided. He wanted to be a teacher. He wanted to show kids that math could be as fascinating as any subject, and to show others like himself that there are many out there like them. Aiden graduated top of his class in college, a degree in education, specifically mathematics. Ventus Technical Academy accepted him as a student teacher, under his old mathematics instructor, eventually replacing her when she retired. One night while typing up the syllabus for the new school year, Aiden received a strage email. Thinking it was spam, he deleted it. Not seconds later it, it appeared again and again and again. It kept sending one after another until he caved, clicking the link in the message...
